1 Triveni Ghat

Triveni Ghat  Very nice aarti , spectacular ! And without unmanageable crowd. The river current is fast, and this ensures cleanliness. The ghat area is also clean. The sight of people from various countries dancing together after the aarti was a bonus.
 


2 Ram jhoola

This is again an experience one can only experience. Its one of the most visited place in the whole rishikesh area, and it lives upto the reputation. Later government made Ram jhoola to make easy access to another end. Before bridge people using big motor boat to cross Ganga river.
 


3 The Beatles Ashram

This Ashram has a museum of pics and info of The Beatles time spent here in the 70’s. Each area of the now dilapidated ashram has a board. The Beatles Ashram could be a major tourism landmark for Rishikes.
 


4 Neer Garh Waterfall

 Its a very small trek to the waterfall , Two incredible falls, with possibility of feeding on the spot. A quiet climb but need for resistance, clean and crystal clear water. Worth taking a good walk if you are the walking type. The rewarding view when you reach the falls is calming. 
 


5 Parmath Niketan Temple

Parmarth Nikaten is very famous place of Rishikesh for spiritual activity. Yoga, Ganga darshan,Ganga Arati are main attractions. Situated on the left bank of Ganga river. Some years ago Lord Shiva statue is constructed along or in the deeply submerged area of left bank creates.
 


6 Sivananda Ashram

It was great to set foot in to an Ashram where a great sage lived and helped humanity. Swami Sivananda's ashram is a genuine highlight of visiting Rishikesh. This is as authentic as they come. A place of serious introspection where a lot of good is done without fanfare. Just mind blowing.
 


7 Vashishta Gufa

This place has historical and religious significance and provides a unique meditation experience in the cave, directions to the place and general accessibility was an issue. Such places of worship and spiritual significance must be maintained better with an emphasis on cleanliness.
 


8 Kunjapuri Devi Temple

Kunjapuri Devi Temple is one of the most revered Shakti Peeths of Goddess Shakti in Garhwal Himalayas. This is an ancient temple located at about 1600 meters height. Beauty of this place is, you can see snow-clad white Himalayas and river Ganga.
